Pressure Switch

An adjustable hydraulic pressure switch is a precision control device that monitors hydraulic system pressure and changes electrical state when a defined set point is reached. The WX adjustable hydraulic pressure switch is engineered specifically for rugged mobile and industrial hydraulic systems that need reliable high-pressure control in a compact footprint. With adjustable set points from 50 to 5000 PSI and a narrow 3–10% differential, the WX series delivers accurate, repeatable switching even in circuits that see frequent pressure spikes. Rated up to 5000 PSI maximum operating pressure with 15,000 PSI proof pressure, it is well suited for demanding hydraulic applications where safety margins and uptime are critical. Each WX adjustable high pressure switch uses Nason’s proven snap-action mechanism and long-life elastomer diaphragm to maintain stable operation over a typical life of one million cycles. Standard zinc-plated steel construction resists corrosion in harsh environments, with optional brass, nickel-plated, 303 stainless, or 316 stainless steel bodies for added durability or media compatibility.

Space-efficient high-pressure design

The WX adjustable hydraulic pressure switch delivers full high-pressure performance—up to 5000 PSI—in a compact housing that fits easily into crowded manifolds and hydraulic power units. Its small footprint and integrated connection options help simplify installation and service in tight high-pressure layouts.

Precision snap-action performance

A piston-driven mechanism actuates a snap-action switch element, providing a crisp change of state right at the set point instead of the slow “creep” typical of conventional designs. The 3–10% differential and tested million-cycle life help prevent nuisance cycling and support long-term accuracy in demanding hydraulic duty.

Extensive configuration & adjustability

Five adjustable pressure ranges from 50 to 5000 PSI, plus rising or falling actuation options, let you define exactly when the switch reacts in your circuit. Multiple port threads, circuit forms (SPST-NO, SPST-NC, SPDT), and electrical connectors turn the WX into a flexible adjustable hydraulic switch platform that can be tailored to each machine.

Rugged, USA-built reliability

WX switches are engineered and assembled in Nason’s U.S. facility and built to NEMA 4 and 13 environmental ratings for use in tough mobile and industrial environments. Robust construction, Buna-N sealing, and 100% factory testing provide dependable high-pressure performance over a typical life of more than one million cycles.
